Withdrawal speed is one of the most common concerns. Different withdrawal methods have vastly different processing times. Knowing what to expect makes the wait much less stressful.
C2C Cash-Out Processing Time
When you sell USDT through C2C and receive fiat to your bank account, the entire process usually takes 10–30 minutes. Once the buyer pays, you receive the bank transfer in real time, and the transaction is complete after you confirm the coin release.
In rare cases the buyer may be a bit slow to pay, but the platform imposes a 15–20 minute payment deadline. If the buyer doesn't pay in time, the order is automatically canceled. Overall, C2C is the fastest method for fiat withdrawals.
On-Chain Withdrawal Processing Time
When you withdraw crypto from Binance to MetaMask, another exchange, or a cold wallet, the transfer goes through the blockchain. Processing time depends on the network you choose:
- BEP20 (BSC): Usually 1–3 minutes — the fastest option with the lowest fees
- ERC20 (Ethereum): Normally 5–15 minutes; during network congestion, it can stretch to 30+ minutes
- TRC20 (Tron): Usually 1–5 minutes, with low fees
- BTC network: 10–60 minutes, depending on block confirmations and miner fees
- Arbitrum/Optimism and other L2 networks: Usually 1–5 minutes
Each chain has its own confirmation requirement — the receiving platform needs to wait for a certain number of block confirmations before the funds show up. For example, Ethereum typically requires 12 confirmations, each taking about 12 seconds.
What Affects Withdrawal Speed
Network congestion is the most common cause of delays. During NFT minting events or hot project launches, Ethereum gas fees spike and transaction processing slows noticeably.
Withdrawal review can also add wait time. Binance manually reviews large withdrawals or those flagged by risk controls, typically completing the review within 10 minutes to a few hours. First-time withdrawals to a new address may face stricter scrutiny.
The receiving platform's confirmation requirements vary. The same on-chain transfer might show up after 3 confirmations on one platform but require 30 on another — a difference of potentially dozens of minutes.
What to Do If Your Withdrawal Hasn't Arrived
First, check the "Withdrawal History" on Binance. If it shows "Completed" but the receiving end hasn't credited it, take the TxID (transaction hash) and look it up on a blockchain explorer to check the confirmation status.
If the confirmations are sufficient but the receiving platform hasn't credited the funds, contact their support. If Binance still shows "Processing" after more than 2 hours, reach out to Binance support.
If you don't have a Binance account yet, sign up for Binance to access the full deposit and withdrawal features.
