You might not know this, but some trading pairs on Binance charge absolutely zero fees. Taking advantage of these zero-fee pairs can save you a significant amount over time.
BTC Zero-Fee Trading Pairs
Binance launched zero-fee BTC trading, with multiple BTC pairs enjoying 0% Maker and Taker rates, including BTC/USDT, BTC/TUSD, BTC/USDC, and more. Buying and selling Bitcoin costs you nothing in trading fees — a major perk for BTC investors.
Note that the zero-fee policy may be adjusted, so it's a good idea to check the fee schedule before trading to confirm which pairs are still free.
Limited-Time Zero-Fee Promotions
Beyond the long-term BTC zero-fee policy, Binance also runs occasional promotions that temporarily set other coins' fees to zero. For example, when a new coin launches or during special holiday events, certain trading pairs may temporarily have their fees waived.
These promotions typically last anywhere from a few days to a few weeks. You can find them in the announcement bar on the Binance App homepage or in the "Activity Center."
Are There Any Limitations
While the trading fees are zero, keep these points in mind:
- Specific pairs only: Not all BTC pairs are fee-free — only designated ones qualify
- Certain order types may be excluded: Some zero-fee promotions apply only to spot trading, not futures
- API trading may have restrictions: Whether API orders qualify for zero fees depends on the specific announcement
- Withdrawal fees still apply: Zero fees refer only to trading fees — withdrawals are charged as normal
How to Find Current Zero-Fee Pairs
The most direct method is to log into Binance and go to the "Fee Schedule" page to see which trading pairs are marked as 0%.
Alternatively, on the spot trading page, search for BTC and check the details for each trading pair — the current applicable fee rate will be listed there.
Real Savings in Practice
Suppose your monthly BTC trading volume is 50,000 USDT. At the default 0.1% rate, you'd pay 50 USDT in fees. Using zero-fee trading pairs, that 50 USDT is completely saved. Over a year, that's 600 USDT.
If you don't have a Binance account yet, signing up through a referral link also gives you an extra discount on trades outside the zero-fee pairs.
