You've installed the Binance App but it won't open, or it gets stuck on the loading screen — this is fairly common among users in mainland China. The issue usually isn't with the app itself but with the network environment.
Check Your Network Connection
The most basic step: confirm that your phone can access the internet. Open a browser and try searching for something. If your internet works fine but Binance won't open, the issue is with the connection route to Binance's servers.
Try switching your network: go from WiFi to mobile data, or vice versa. Different carriers have varying connectivity to overseas services, and sometimes switching networks is all it takes.
Change Your DNS Settings
DNS resolution issues are one of the most common reasons the Binance App won't open. You can manually change your phone's DNS to a public DNS:
- Android: Settings → Network → Private DNS → Enter
dns.google(i.e., 8.8.8.8) - iOS: Settings → WiFi → Tap the info icon on your current WiFi → Change DNS to
8.8.8.8, 1.1.1.1
After making the change, restart the Binance App and try again.
Some Regions May Require Network Tools
In certain network environments, directly connecting to Binance's servers can be difficult. If changing DNS still doesn't work, you may need to use a network acceleration tool. This varies by region and carrier, and there's no one-size-fits-all answer.
Clear Cache or Reinstall
If the app used to work fine but suddenly won't open, try clearing the app cache (on Android, do this through App Management). If that doesn't help, uninstall and download the Binance App fresh with the latest version. Sometimes older versions become incompatible with the server and can't connect.
Check If Binance Services Are Running Normally
In rare cases, Binance itself may be undergoing maintenance or experiencing an outage. Check Binance's official Twitter (@binance) or announcement channels for any maintenance notices. If it's a server-side issue, all users will be affected — just wait for it to be resolved.
