Huawei phones don't have Google services for well-known reasons, and the Huawei AppGallery doesn't carry Binance either. But this doesn't stop you from using it — installing the Binance App on a Huawei phone is actually quite simple with a direct APK download.
Download the APK via Browser
Open Huawei's built-in browser or any browser you prefer, visit the Binance website's download page, or go directly to download Binance App. The page will provide the Android APK file — tap the download button and wait for it to finish.
During the download, Huawei's browser may display a security warning like "This app has not been verified by Huawei." This is normal since Binance isn't in the Huawei AppGallery — just select "Continue download."
Handling Permission Prompts During Installation
After the download completes, tap the installation file. Both HarmonyOS and EMUI will ask you to authorize "Allow installation from external sources." Here's how:
- When the system popup appears, tap "Settings" to go to the permissions page
- Find the corresponding browser and toggle on "Allow installing unknown apps"
- Go back and tap install again
HarmonyOS 3.0 and above, as well as EMUI 11 and above, are fully compatible with the Binance App — it runs smoothly with no issues based on real-world testing.
Post-Installation Checks
After installation, open the Binance App and check a few key features: whether the market page loads properly, whether candlestick charts display, and whether the login and registration flows work normally. Huawei phones don't need the Google Services Framework to use all of Binance's features, including push notifications (delivered through Huawei's push service).

How to Update Later
Since the app wasn't installed through an app store, future updates need to be done manually. The Binance App will show an in-app popup when a new version is available — tap update to automatically download the new APK and install over the current version. You can also bookmark the official download page and check for new versions periodically. Updates won't affect your account data or login status.
